Prior to Asset Insight, he served as VP, Strategic Marketing with GE Capital’s Corporate Aircraft Finance group, joining GE after serving as VP – Aircraft Sales for Jet Aviation Business Jets, Inc. Following a ten-year tenure with British Aerospace, Inc., where he became VP – Sales, for JSX Capital, the company’s aircraft remarketing subsidiary, Tony founded The K Group, Ltd., providing Marketing, Sales, and Financial Services consulting to companies headquartered in the Americas and Europe. He later joined Jet Support Services, Inc., as Sales Director – Airframe Programs, and developed “Tip-to-Tail,” JSSI’s Airframe Hourly Cost Maintenance Program.
Tony is a published author and active industry association member, serving as the current Board Secretary for the National Aircraft Finance Association (NAFA). He is a past Chairman of the Products and Services Member Council for the International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA), and is an active participant on the Transportation Research Board’s (TRB) Business Aviation Subcommittee.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Florida Institute of Technology’s College of Aeronautics, has completed graduate studies at New York’s Pace University toward a MBA in Finance, and is a licensed pilot.

During a total of 29 years with MBB/EADS (today Airbus), Bombardier Aerospace (both in Maintenance Management and Aircraft Sales), as well as several years in business jet operation with DC Aviation (former DaimlerChrysler Aviation), Robert acquired in-depth knowledge and experience in business aircraft maintenance, after sales support, engineering as well as aircraft sales & acquisitions. With several decades supporting aircraft owners and operators in making fully-informed decisions about their aircraft needs, his expertise spans from the flight department and cockpit to the executive boardroom. He is an analytical business partner and aerospace expert with demonstrated excellence in generating revenues, improving competitive advantage, maximizing fleet performance, leading highly productive teams, developing financial strategies and engaging with customers.
David is the founder of David Wyndham + Associates, and previously he was a Co-owner and President of Conklin & de Decker, an industry leading company in aviation research, consulting and education. The company was bought by JSSI in 2018- During the time with Conkling & de Decker, he consulted with large corporations, individuals, and government agencies on their aircraft needs. In the US Air Force David lead aircrew training and safety, operations scheduling and coordination of flight operations with multinational forces throughout Europe, North America and the Middle East and flew C-130 transports while holding Top Secret/SCI clearance.
He has written over 300 articles (many for AvBuyer), presented seminars, and delivered keynote speeches at aviation events.

David has launched into production more than 160 large business aircraft and often handled the more complex and super-premium interior completions.
He then accepted a job as a sales engineer at Gulfstream Aerospace supporting the Gulfstream IV and V aircraft. This role led to jobs of increasing responsibility within the sales support department including Manager of International Sales Development and Director of Product Marketing and Sales Support. It was at Gulfstream, that David accepted his first job in the aircraft interior business as a Completion Sales Executive. Among highlights, he defined and sold the interior package for the first Gulfstream V.
David’s boss at the time soon was invited to become the General Manager of the Bombardier Global Completion Centre in Montreal supporting the brand new Global Express aircraft. The lure of a new and more advanced aircraft along with an offer from his old boss lured David to take an Account Manager job completing Global Express aircraft for Bombardier. He also become proficient at leading Bombardier specification teams in their collaborative work with outside completion centres.
